Study Habits… Helpful ideas
Drink at least 8-10 glasses of good water each day.
Select the same hour and place to study as much as possible.
Stand and stretch periodically to refresh the brain.
Sleep in the dark with an early bedtime to get 7-8 hours.
Listen to music with a positive message instead of music with harmful effects such as some rap, rock and heavy metal music
Read good biographies, classic stories, or character-training books and the Bible on a daily basis.
Limit TV or video games to no more than 1 hour per day on average.
With food, moderation is the key.
Avoid processed sugar, which has no nutritional properties.
Encourage integrity, perseverance, and strong work ethics.
Plan at least 15 minutes of homework on days when children receive no homework at school.
